A few facts about paintball

Paintballs do not actually contain paint

You may be surprised to find paintballs made of gelatin, the same stuff in Jello. There are a few reasons for it. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and advantage of making paintballs with gelatin is that it is biodegradable. In fact, paintballs are made entirely of food-grade ingredients.  When paintballs are shot, the gelatin skin splits open, leaving a brightly colored mark on the tagged player.

Therefore, it is easy to wash clothes and skin, just with mild soap and water. So, you do not have to worry if the color is found on your face although you have a mask on yourself. Just to mention, you certainly shouldn’t think about it, because uniform is surely provided by us and you are completely protected. If safety rules followed, statistics show that paintball is safer than golf, tennis and swimming.

Everyone is probably  wondering does getting shoot with a paintball hurt

The sting of the paintball is part of the mystique of the game. Paintball is a high adrenaline, highly strenuous game where participants shoot each other with paintball projectiles at a high rate of speed.  A paintball gun, or a marker, can fire a paintball up to speeds of 300 feet per second, and can fire a paintball up to 50 yards. So, while getting ’marked’ by a paintball may sting a little, the sensation is similar to getting snapped by a rubber band and will usually go away for a couple of seconds. You may be subject to bruising from such impact or minor scratches or cuts from running, jumping and rolling around in rugged terrain… but this game is very safe and has one of the lowest injury rates of any sport. All in all, it’s a part of an unforgettable game.
